Quotes of the Week

Wheee….. and we are getting closer to the end of the year and a whole lot of holidays! Great for some, not so great for others.

If you have some fears and anxiety when the holidays approach – it’s most likely down to not having enough cash to buy the gifts you want for the people in your life, or the people in your life themselves. Family dinners and drunk Uncle Larry, anyone?

Time to chill. Instead of looking forward to a fearful, painful or uncomfortable time, plan to make the best of what you have. Don’t let someone else’s expectations rule your life and emotions, or you’ll be a basketcase.

The most important thing is to step forward and keep moving, even through all those falls and other obstacles on the road. GO!!!

Quotes of the Week 9

“People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them.”
~ George Bernard Shaw

“The expectations of life depend upon diligence; the mechanic that would perfect his work must first sharpen his tools.”
~ Confucius

Quotes of the Week 9

And to round out the week, this wonderful quote by Mahatma Ghandi. Tell me this: Are you really LIVING?

Have a wonderful weekend – go forward with the confidence that, whatever the obstacle, you’ll come out on the other side better off.
